Duplicity is a medium-weight social strategy game where players employ negotiation, bribery, cunning, and foresight to claim the vacant throne of Lunalia.
Each player is a Regent, competing within and outside of the stateroom in order to gather Influence. Taking place over four rounds, each Regent spends time gathering resources, making deals, completing secret agendas, and managing their hand of cards in order to prepare for Summit, the defining moment in each round where players truly enter the stateroom. These actions gain players Influence in the five key Victory Categories, through which a player can win by achieving particular combinations of Influence.
